STYLE ADVICE FOR A BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT PHOTOSHOOT

Choose an outfit that you feel very confident and comfortable in when deciding on what to wear for business professional headshots.  You will want to look polished and professional.  

Tried and true options for women include business dresses, blazers, business suits, business casual, dressy tops paired with either a skirt or dress pants.  

For men, great options include a suit and tie, pocket squares, or simply a nice dress shirt paired with dress pants and a belt.  

If you purchased the professional hair styling option with us, please arrive with clean and dry hair.  If you choose to style your hair yourself, I suggest it to be worn down and in a very natural style either straightened with a flat iron, or big, loose, beachy waves or curls.  I do not suggest using a heavy amount of hair spray or other styling products as you will want some movement with your hair during the shoot.  You will want to style your hair like you do everyday to look your most natural.  

If you purchased the professional make-up application option with us, please arrive with a clean and moisturized face.  Your moisturizer should NOT CONTAIN ANY SUNSCREEN OR SPF as this will create light bounce-back on your skin from the speed lights that is not flattering.  If you choose to do your own make-up application at yourself at home, I suggest a very clean and natural look.  Less is more!  Use a medium coverage foundation that matches your natural skin tone, a youthful and fresh looking blush color on the apples of your cheeks, highlighter, good mascara that is not overly dramatic, and either a nude, or subtle lip color or just clear or lightly colored lip gloss alone.  You will want your skin and overall make-up style to look fresh, natural and glowing/dewy!
